About the Band
The Higher Desires is a rock band with an endorphin-forward core: stay strong, think for yourself, have a great time, live life. The studio catalog began as a solo project from songwriter-producer William Walbaum, crafting each track end-to-end before bringing the vision to the stage. The live band is now forming to take these songs to rooms where they belong: loud, human, and undeniable.
The focus right now is simple and deliberate: one track at a time, get the music heard. We’re building audience through social content and articles, then connecting with like-minded musicians who love the material and want to perform as The Higher Desires.
